In conversation with Florencia Delgado, Scientific Director of Binding Site Latam, we review our history as a whole and the new path to travel in an interview that you can find complete here.
Gabriel Pastoriza, our Commercial Director, comments that originally "the initial challenge of Binding Site in Uruguay was to make the test of free light chains available to everyone. We have greatly democratized access to this trial, which was previously sent abroad and was very expensive. And we are satisfied with the result. What we see is that Binding Site is much more than Freelite. It has the possibility of becoming a strategic ally of all clinical laboratories that decide to make the study of proteins a specialization."
This next stage is led by the Optilite team, recently incorporated by the Hospital de Clínicas, in the first installation of this state-of-the-art platform in our country. Optilite arrives to aggiornar an area of the laboratory that was in need of an added value. From her regional vision, Florencia Delgado agrees that "Specializing a platform to get the most out of or optimize protein as much as possible is the trend we see in other countries or in other regions."
