Following its recent opening, we equipped the Nextlab laboratory in Florida with a Chemagic Prepito Perkin Elmer for RNA extraction and a CFX96 thermocyclator of Bio-Rad to resolve locally the realization of COVID-19 tests for individuals and companies, something that until now involved a necessary transfer to Montevideo.
One of its directors, Mr. Jorge Naya, comments that "the objective of the laboratory is to continue incorporating Molecular Biology techniques, especially in areas such as virology, microbiology and hematology".
