Biodiagnóstico adds to its portfolio of Clinical Diagnosis the urine analysis line of Sysmex, and we celebrated it with a meeting at the Hotel Costanero in Montevideo.
At the event we were accompanied by Fabio Cunha, Product Manager for Latin America, who presented the complete line of the company within the framework of the conference "The art of urinalysis".
There we learned about the Sysmex UN-Series, the first flexible and fully modular concept for urine analysis with fluorescent flow cytometry that allows automating biochemistry and particle analysis, as well as obtaining better digital images.
The use of this system allows to standardize a procedure that today is user-dependent. It also saves time thanks to the measurement of body fluids without pretreatment, and thanks to the sending of alerts of positive results and automatic release of negative results, which reduces the dedication of the staff.
The adoption of this solution also makes it possible to reduce the amount of daily urine cultures that the laboratory must perform.
Patients will also benefit from a more efficient treatment since the system performs a screening for early detection of kidney disease.
With precision technology and more analysis parameters, the system offers a complete urinalysis solution adaptable to high- and low-volume laboratories alike.
