We participated in the first edition of the Neonatal Research Update Day organized by the BPS, a program in which Uruguay is a leader in Latin America since all those born in the country are studied, regardless of the health institution to which they belong. It is universal, free and mandatory.
The wide panel of pathologies detected, which are not clinically evident at birth but produce biochemical alterations that can be found through specific analyses, has changed the quality of life of 685 children in the last 27 years.
From Biodiagnóstico we are proud to be part of this work, contributing as suppliers of the Neonatal Research Laboratory of the BPS.
